I'm new to Castilleja. What exactly is View360?

In 2008, Castilleja made the bold move to replace its traditional auction benefit with the first View360 Symposium--Power: Challenges for Women in the 21st Century. Our goal was to celebrate the spirit of our community with an event that focused on the consumption of ideas, rather than the consumption of material goods. View360 has quickly become a signature Castilleja event. 

Over the past 10 years we've examined passion, information, power, optimism, action, collaboration, voices, imagination, and confidence through the eyes of an array of more than 40 thought-provoking speakers including: Brandi Chastain, Senator Cory Booker, Tina Brown, Kristin Chenoweth, Tim Cook, Anderson Cooper, Jane Goodall, David E. Kelley, Annie Leibovitz, Marissa Mayer, Rupert Murdoch, Condoleezza Rice, Anna Deavere Smith, Elizabeth Vargas, and Betty White.

This year our theme is Resilience, and we promise, you won't be disappointed!

Is it a fundraiser for the school?
Yes. View360 raises funds specifically for tuition assistance. Since 2008, View360 has raised over $8.5 million and currently provides over 50% of Castilleja's tuition assistance budget each year.

Are tickets mailed or is there will-call?

No physical tickets are mailed prior to the event. You will check in by picking up your name tag at the registration table. To get your tickets, please visit the tab "Purchase Tickets" above!

Can my daughter attend?

View360 is an event for the adult Castilleja community only. Seniors are given the opportunity to volunteer at the event and may stay to watch the program. 

What if I cannot use my tickets?

Tickets are transferable. You may give them to a friend to use by notifying the Advancement Office or you can release them back to the Advancement Office so they can be made available for others. You can choose to donate your ticket(s) back to the school making the full purchase price tax deductible or request a refund.

What time do I need to be there?

Drinks and appetizers will be served beginning at 7:00pm at the Welcome Reception. The Underwriter Reception begins at 6:00pm, and the Alumnae Reception begins at 6:30pm.

Will I be seated if I am late?

Yes, we will seat late arrivals, but due to the nature of the event, you may have to wait for a break in the program to enter the theater.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be wine and delicious fare catered by Bon Appétit served prior to the program. The after-party will include a selection of savories and sweets as well as wine and champagne. 

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is encouraged.
