The arts at Castilleja go beyond a rich and robust Visual and Performing Arts curriculum. In addition to its academic component, the department facilitates numerous cocurricular activities and unique programs that enrich the experience for our students and for our entire community.
Each year our performing arts calendar includes numerous performance opportunities: plays, musicals, vocal and instrumental music concerts, Arts with a Heart, and student-led special events. Castilleja is also fortunate to have dedicated arts facilities throughout the campus, including the Anita Seipp Gallery, a dedicated art space that exhibits professional and student work throughout the year.
Our Artist-in-Residence program is entering its third year. This innovative program gives students the opportunity to interact with professional artists on a deeper level over the course of an 8-week residency.
