Kelly Young graduated from Occidental College with a BA in Critical Theory and Social Justice and received her MA in Sports Management from the USF. She previously served as the Director of Athletics Communications at Occidental and the Events Manager at Stanford for all aspects of game-day operations, as well as the Meet Director for women’s gymnastics. A three-time All-American thrower, Ms. Young loves coaching and building young women’s collaborative skills and confidence in fitness, athletics, and life. In her free time, she likes to hike, run, bike, craft, bake, and read.
Kenny Cox studied engineering at Utica University; he played football in high school and was on the track & field team in college. After moving to California from his native New York, he worked as an engineer technician and in private security. In addition to being a part of Castilleja’s maintenance team, Mr. Cox is a longtime basketball coach, and he enjoys the community of students and colleagues. His hobbies include building LEGO vehicles and buildings and working with model trains. He enjoys watching and playing sports, including basketball, track & field, softball, baseball, and soccer.
