Christy Story holds a BA from Vassar in International Studies and MA and PhD in History from UC Santa Cruz, where she was also a lecturer and received the UC Regents Dissertation award. She was appointed a research fellow by the Center for the Study of Law in Society at Berkeley's Boalt Law School. Dr. Story researched in Russia before settling back in the Bay Area with her husband and sons. She is committed to educating young women and enjoys hiking, walking with her dogs, the mountains, and scuba diving (she taught as a Dive Master in her 20s!).
