Summer at Castilleja
Three wonderful and diverse programs under the sun.
For more than 45 years, Casti Camp at Castilleja School has provided girls an all-day camp where fun, learning, and friendships are the focus.
Casti Camp offers a range of age-appropriate activities which include athletics, art, science, computers, writing, crafts, cooking, drama, dance and music classes each day. In addition, there are weekly field trips and memorable traditions, including talent shows, counselor skits, prison ball, BBQ Wednesdays, and more. Activities are designed to encourage creativity, self-confidence, cooperation, risk-taking, and responsibility.
Casti Camp is located at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, where we have a wide array of facilities including gymnasiums, art rooms, a swimming pool, classrooms, a stage, a large playing field and more! A delicious lunch is provided every day.
Our all-girls setting creates a joyful and supportive environment where girls feel comfortable trying new activities, gaining new skills, and making great friends. The Campers in Leadership Training (CILT) program is perfect for girls who love the camp experience and want to develop their leadership skills in a month-long program.
Castilleja is pleased to partner with i2 to offer one-week courses of fun and inspiring hands-on learning, blending Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM).
These courses run during summer sessions and are open to girls ages 9–13.
Each summer Castilleja hosts thirty 5th-grade summer students as part of the Peninsula Bridge program.
These highly-motivated students work with Castilleja high school mentors and the ACE Center to ensure that they "bridge" the summer learning gap by challenging themselves with reading, math, computer science, and Castilleja-designed, student-led elective programming.
