Casti Camp 2.0

The Joy of Casti Camp—at Home

For over 50 years Casti Camp at Castilleja School has been an oasis for girls who want to experience the true meaning of summer—dedicated time and space for play, exploration, creativity, and discovery. This year, Casti Camp 2.0 will preserve that unique experience while moving to an online platform.

With the same emphasis on sharing joy, building friendships, and inspiring creativity, our counselors will lead girls through engaging activities, including art, dance, science, writing, theater, and games. Returning campers will recognize classes they loved from past years and discover a combination of cherished traditions—like morning meetings, sing-alongs, and theme days—and new adventures. Casti Camp 2.0 is open to rising 2nd-6th graders, and our Camper in Leadership Training Program (CiLT) is open to rising 7th-9th graders. These older girls offer valuable and lasting lessons as mentors to our younger campers and practice innovation and problem-solving by assisting counselors in planning games and activities. Each camper will receive a Casti Camp 2.0 in a Box which will include supplies she will need to enjoy her activities for the week.

This was our first experience with summer camps in general, and we were thrilled with Castilleja. My daughters are still singing the camp cheers and songs, and we are very excited for next year.Casti Camp Parent
