Two students, senior Chloe S. and sophomore Margaret Z., won awards (and cash prizes) in this year's Peninsula Young Writers 5th Annual Writing Contest. Chloe was awarded First Place for her short story "Yellow Threads," and Margaret earned Honorable Mention for her poem "Hometown Apparitions." Each student read from her work at the March 31 Awards Ceremony in Redwood City; Jane McConnell, Jill Lee, and Rebecca Sherouse attended, and were delighted by the students' powerful prose and performance. Please congratulate Chloe and Margaret when you next see them on campus!
