Annual Fund

Each year, Castilleja relies on our generous community to support our innovative teaching and programs.

The Castilleja Annual Fund is an essential fundraising priority, enabling Castilleja to maintain small class sizes, attract and retain outstanding faculty, and continue to offer innovative programs.

The Annual Fund relies on the generosity of the entire community, including parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, grandparents, faculty, and staff. Your support enables Castilleja to educate our students to be intellectually curious, global thinkers, and thoughtful leaders.

2018-19 Goal:

Raise
$2.2 Million

Annual Fund at Work

1. Tuition covers 71% of the real cost of a Castilleja education.

Even those who pay the full tuition are benefiting from the generosity of donors to the Annual Fund. There is a $10k difference between tuition revenue and the operating budget annually.

2. Employee compensation is 67% of the operating budget

The faculty is the heart behind a student’s experience at Castilleja. They encourage students to be intellectually curious, explore their passion and embrace challenges. Living in the Bay area is expensive and the school is committed to offering competitive compensation and professional development programs to retain the best faculty.

3. The Annual Fund helps make the transformative Castilleja programming possible.

This includes 40 middle school and 92 upper school courses in addition to 5 global study programs.
