Transformative Support

Additional fundraising initiatives that have significant impact in specific areas.

The Castilleja endowment includes a collection of 57 individual funds which generate almost 8% of the school’s annual operating budget. The endowment is managed for the long term and provides a permanent source of support for Castilleja.

Like most school endowments, the funds are restricted for specific purposes determined by the donors and aligned with the needs of the school.

Capital Campaign

Throughout Castilleja’s history, major capital and endowment campaigns have transformed our ability to develop cutting-edge programs and build impactful learning spaces. These significant investments ensure Castilleja is able to continue our legacy of excellence for future generations of girls.

Given the 5 to 7 year frequency of campaigns, all families will be invited to support a capital campaign during their daughter’s tenure at Castilleja.

Innovation Investment Fund (IIF)

The IIF was created to fund projects designed by faculty members and students to engage in change at the institutional level.

Modeled after programs in place at several universities, gifts to this fund provide financial flexibility to seize unique and important opportunities as they present themselves and to explore new avenues of teaching and learning that are outside of the traditional budget cycle. The Innovation Investment Fund ensures Castilleja has the resources necessary to stay on the cutting edge of education and innovation.

Programs Funded by IIF Gifts
