View360 FAQs

What is View360?
View360 is Castilleja’s premier social event of the year, an annual celebration highlighting our commitment to tuition assistance. To watch a short video, click here.

What is the difference between View360 and an auction or gala?
While many other schools have auctions or galas, Castilleja shifted to View360 in 2008 so that every attendee would leave the evening having gained something; perhaps a new connection with another parent or alum, a shared learning experience from the speakers, or both. As of 2026, View360 is no longer a separate fundraising event, as tuition assistance is now supported by gifts to the Castilleja Fund.

Why attend? Who are the speakers?
View360 brings together acclaimed leaders, activists, and performers. Previous speakers have included luminaries such as Jane Goodall, Condoleezza Rice, and Betty White, among many others. Speakers are revealed in the weeks leading up to the event.

What is the format of View360?
View360 features a pre party, entertainment, a symposium, and after party. Celebrate over drinks and hors d’oeuvres upon arrival before the program begins.
 • 6:00 pm - Leadership Reception
 • 7:00 pm - Pre Party
 • 8:00–9:30 pm - Symposium
 • 9:30–11:00 pm - After Party

Who attends View360?
Historically, 300-400 guests attend View360. Most are Castilleja parents, but we also have employees, alums, and past parents join the party.

I’ve already given to the Castilleja Fund, so why am I being asked to purchase a ticket to View360? View360 tickets offset the expense of hosting an event of this scale, though any additional contributions can be directed toward tuition assistance. Donors to the Castilleja Fund at the level of $12,500 and above receive two tickets with access to the Leadership Reception, premier seating reserved at the symposium, and recognition in the printed program, whereas other members of our community are asked to purchase tickets

What does tuition assistance cover for the students who receive grants?
One in five Castilleja students receives tuition assistance. Our approach is more comprehensive than ever, ensuring that every student has the same Castilleja experience. Based on demonstrated financial need, grants support many facets of student life. Thanks to our generous donors and healthy endowment, the school not only offsets tuition, it also provides uniforms, laptops, textbooks, and college visits, so that opportunity is never limited by circumstance.
