Our Students

Castilleja’s student body reflects the cultural and economic diversity of our region.

Although the majority of students live on the San Francisco Peninsula, many commute from Burlingame to the north, San Jose to the south, and East Bay communities.

Our challenging 6th through 12th academic program is enhanced by our global curriculum, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programming, and leadership opportunities at all grade levels.

Castilleja fosters leadership in the classroom and in a variety of co-curricular offerings, including athletics, clubs, community action, student government, dramatic and musical performances, peer tutoring, teaching assistantships, and internships.

Our Faculty

We are passionate about teaching young women who become intellectual partners through mentorship.

The Castilleja faculty is dedicated to the school’s mission of educating young women for a lifetime of learning and leading and have been recognized by local, state, and national organizations for their contributions to student learning.
